arrows point
yet no direction
over crossed rhythm
confusion chase thoughts
empty houses
homeless souls
who were on frenetic escapes
minds in captive frozen gates
ranched ships on sea of no hope
sank the king with barbed throne
the drowning world
nor beginning or end
neither win or lost
suffocated chances
aggravated virtues

Everyday fools are in war
lives slips off finger tips
aggravation, bitter sorrow
children, assume hatred
guns, grown man's tools
woman,hidden in despair
father's last meal was not even warm
mother's touch is by death's door
if so, to choose with one faith
there can never be tomorrow
mechanistic track streams forward
